Our sun protective fabrics are revolutionary fabrics specially manufactured to block greater than 97% of all UVA and UVB radiation. (In contrast, an average T-shirt blocks only 50% UVB radiation.)

These modern fabrics maintain their high SPF rating (SPF 30+) even after the equivalent of two years wear and tear! All fabrics are machine washable, breathable and non-irritating for even the most sensitive skin. (We advise pre-washing of the fabric before you begin cutting and sewing.)

HOT COLOUR TIP: The ability of these fabrics to protect you from the sun’s harmful rays is actually in the dyeing process. So, for maximum protection you want the maximum dye! That means the darker colours! And you wanted to wear white ‘cause it’s hot out there! No worries, white is still great protection, it’s just not the maximum.
